Filarmónica de Viena

The Vienna Philharmonic (Wiener Philharmoniker) has been struck since 1989 and is one of the world's best-selling investment coins. The one-ounce coin contains 31.10 g of 999.9 gold and has a face value of 100 euros in Austria. It shows the organ of Vienna's Musikverein and the instruments of the Vienna Philharmonic.

Coin or bar?

Coins cost slightly more per gram than bars of the same weight because striking a coin costs more, but they are recognised worldwide and easy to sell. Many investors combine bars for larger amounts with coins or ducats for smaller, flexible portions.

How coin prices are set

The price follows the current exchange gold price, converted to dinars at the EUR middle rate, plus the mint's and dealer's margin. Prices on this page update during the day and are locked for 5 minutes in the cart.
